Subject: Secret Employer Plan to Drive Down Your Wages and Conditions
Date: March 16th 2023

Dear colleague,

You may have seen the news article last week about the secret plan by university senior managements to drive down wages and conditions across our sector.

Negotiations for new enterprise agreements are happening at most universities across Australia, and the union is winning big improvements for university staff – including wage rises, secure jobs, paid gender affirmation leave and more.

However, some University managements are choosing to bypass negotiations in an attempt to push through lower pay rises and erode core working conditions.

We'll be addressing this on the 24th of March at 2pm AEDT (online!) - Register here.

Come along and hear how we can work together to stop the employers’ agenda and win better workplaces and better universities.

Regards,

Dr Alison Barnes
NTEU National President
