Dear colleague,

Sixteen universities across Australia have now achieved significant improvements in conditions for staff including:

Not only will staff at these universities receive pay increases, but thousands of new secure jobs will be created in coming years.

These conditions and pay rises have only been possible through union negotiations and the commitment and passion of thousands of staff working towards better workplaces and better universities.

A number of universities have put forward staff agreements without the endorsement of the union. Every time that staff have voted no to these agreements, they have received an improved offer from senior management.

Staff at universities with non-union enterprise agreements are now receiving pay rises 34% lower than colleagues at other universities.

NTEU endorsed enterprise agreements will always result in improved pay and conditions at your workplace.
