Dear University of Melbourne colleagues

It may surprise you that our current Enterprise Agreement expires in just over six months.

The NTEU is ready.

For many months and across our union, we’ve been preparing – through national and statewide planning, discussions with colleagues across the University, and now this survey

We believe our future should be built together – openly, democratically and with genuine participation of staff. We don’t want bargaining to drag out again. The NTEU believes with a new VC who has a deep understanding of our institution and of the Australian higher-education context, we have a great opportunity for our community to build a great workplace, together.

Take our survey to be part of shaping a fairer, stronger workplace for everyone who works here. Together, we can build a university that values its people as much as its reputation.

In unity

David Gonzalez – NTEU UniMelb Branch President

Sarah Roberts – NTEU Victorian Division Secretary

Damien Cahill – NTEU General Secretary
